On August 17th, the Indian Bromine Platform (IBP) orchestrated a Bromine Transportation Safety Mock Drill in Gujarat’s Bhuj district. This effort harmonizes with the platform’s ongoing commitment to nurture a secure Bromine ecosystem in India. The exercise entailed replicating a Bromine ISO tank leakage on a bustling highway. Collaborating with Nicer Globe, local authorities, including the Police, Fire Brigade, and Ambulance, provided swift emergency response. Hosted by Solaris & Agrocel, the Mock Drill garnered active participation from IBP members like Archean, SatyeshBrinechem, Tata Chemicals, Lanxess, and ICL (Israel Chemicals Ltd.). Sumit Kumar, Senior Consultant at Avalon Consulting, also participated in the event.
